Blueberries - Gooseberries

Hurst’s Berry Farm supplies fresh berries year round. We pack in a large variety of clamshells to satisfy our customer’s needs. The North American blueberry harvest season begins in the spring on our California farms and concludes in the fall in the Pacific Northwest – Oregon, Washington & Canada. We source blueberries in the winter from our partner growers in South America from Argentina & Chile. Blackberries and red raspberries are harvested on our Mexican farms from September through June for our import season. Domestic blackberries are harvested in Oregon from July through October. Hurst Berry Farm is proud to supply our customers with the best berries through out the year.

Hurst’s Berry Farm is now offering Grande Blueberries! These big delicious berries are the largest variety on the market, and only Hurst’s offers them with consistently large sizing.  Available in 4.4 oz and 6 oz clamshells, Hurst’s Grande Blueberries ship from US growers May to August, and Chilean fruit ships December to February.

MEXICO OPERATIONS

Blackberries-Red Raspberries-Blueberries

Since 1998 Hurst’s Berry Farm has been growing fruit in Mexico in order to provide a continuous supply of fresh berries year round. Mexico’s warmer climate allows us to grow berries there from October through June. We now farm on 450 acres in the states of Michoacan, Jalisco and Colima, Mexico, where we grow red raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. We will be harvesting all of these berries Oct. - May.

Our Mexico operation is managed by Salvador Alvarez Barboza, who has been with our company since 2002. He has been General manager since 2004. In addition, Mark Hurst spends half his time at the farms in Mexico during their season and oversees the operation. Mark enjoys working with the local people and the cultural respect that they give to everyone.

In the future we plan to keep expanding our berry-growing operations. This will allow us to serve you better!
