Hurst's Berry Farm has been growing fruit in Mexico since 1998 in order to provide a continuous supply of fresh berries to our customers year round. Mexico's warmer climate allows us to harvest berries from October through May. We now farm over 450 acres in the states of Michoacan, Jalisco and Colima. In these regions we grow red raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.
Company president, Mark Hurst, spends about half of the year at the farms in Mexico overseeing the operations. Mark enjoys the Mexican culture and working with the local people. We plan to keep expanding our Mexico berry-growing operation to better serve our customers. |
